Arrival by air
From the exit of Liszt Ferenc International Airport it is recommended to take either
- a taxi from the Főtaxi dispacther booth (work for fixed transport prices in the range of 25 EUR); or
- an Airport Shuttle Minibus, that takes you to your destination conveniently for a somewhat cheaper, fixed price (follow the signs at the airport to their office to buy a ticket); or
- public transport: take bus 100E to Kálvin tér. Change to metro line M4 in the direction of Kelenföld vasútállomás. Get out at Szent Gellért tér and walk down on the Budafoki street to the institute.
Arrival by bus
From the Népliget coach station you can take either
- a taxi: taxis park by the bus station; always negotiate the price before you take the cab; or
- public transport: take metro line M3 to Kálvin tér. Change here to metro line M4 in the direction of Kelenföld vasútállomás. Get out at Szent Gellért tér and walk down along Budafoki street to the institute.
Arrival by train
From the main railway stations you can take either
- taxi: they can be found at the main entrance of the railway station (always negotiate the price before you take the cab); or

public transport:
- From Keleti railway station: take metro line M4 (green signs) in the direction of Kelenföld vasútállomás. Get out at Szent Gellért tér and walk down on the Budafoki street to the institute.
- From Nyugati railway station: take metro line M3 to Kálvin tér (direction kőbánya-Kispest). Change to metro line M4 in the direction of Kelenföld vasútállomás. Get out at Szent Gellért tér and walk down on the Budafoki street to the institute.
- From Déli railway station: take tram 18 to Gárdonyi tér. The Department is in walking distance from Gárdonyi tér.
