The New National Excellence Program (Új Nemzeti Kiválósági Program, ÚNKP) is a national scheme of research scholarships. They are awarded based on excellence to the best BSc/MSc/PhD students and post-doctoral researchers.

Five members of the group have been awarded ÚNKP scholarships for the year 2022/23: Dávid Szász-Schagrin, Botond Nagy, Anna Krasznai, István Csépányi and Bence Fitos.
